PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a detergent composition for a hard surface in which aluminum oxide particles can be stably compounded without being coagulated and further to obtain the detergent composition for the hard surface, excellent in stability without spoiling bactericidal performance and washing performance.;SOLUTION: There is disclosed the method for manufacturing the detergent composition for the hard surface containing (a) aluminum oxide particles, (b) a carboxylic acid based polymer thickener and (c) a nonionic surfactant.
