PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high rigidity, and to correct a position of the instrument mounted to a tool holder at the high accuracy of a micron order in the radial direction of the tool holder.;SOLUTION: The tool holder 20 constituting a machine tool 10 includes a base 22 firmly fixed to a spindle 16, an instrument mounting part 26 having an instrument, for example, a boring bar 24 to be mounted, an elastic deformation part 28 for connecting the base 22 and the instrument mounting part 26, an operation shaft member 30 movable in the radial direction crossing the rotational direction of the spindle 16 with respect to the tool holder 20, a conversion mechanism 32 which converts the moving operation of the operation shaft member 30 to a tilting operation with respect to the axial direction of the instrument mounting part 26, and a moving mechanism 34 for moving the operation shaft member 30 in the radial direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
