PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device which, when executing one instruction, allows efficient access to a plurality of files in the instruction when performing the access for reading, writing or the like of data to the plurality of files.;SOLUTION: This portable electronic device has a memory holding data, has a file management means performing file management with a file as a unit about the data held in the memory, and accesses the plurality of files inside the memory in the one instruction inputted from an external device. The portable electronic device has a current file storage means storing a plurality of pieces of current file information for making the plurality of access target files inside the memory in a current state when performing processing according to the instruction, and sequentially accesses the plurality of access target files made in the current state by the plurality of pieces of the current file information stored in the current file storage means by use of a data reading means or a data writing means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
