PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a program for assessing an environmental load and also a system for assessing the environmental load to support the assessment of reduction and current state of carbon dioxide being emitted from a running automobile.;SOLUTION: A server control unit 21 for an environmental load assessment supporting server 20 divides collected sample data into a short trip, evaluates a speed pattern, and also analyzes the short trip, wherein a typical speed pattern typically representing an equal occurrence frequency for each automobile running state group is predetermined to generate a representative speed pattern. Next, a client terminal 10 specifies a corresponding representative speed pattern based on an input automobile running information, estimates a time-series change of running speed and torque, and also estimates an amount of carbon dioxide. In addition, the client terminal 10 obtains digital tachograph data, specifies a sudden start or a wave like running of the automobile, replaces the specified one with a representative speed pattern having a reduced environmental load, and compares the reduced environmental load with an environmental load without any reduction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
