PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roadside device for providing an opportunity to select again a settlement method.;SOLUTION: If a selection period has lapsed before receiving a settlement specification signal from an on-vehicle device (Yes; Step S3, No; Step S4), with a response that a vehicle is detected by a vehicle detection sensor (Yes; Step S9), a CPU of a roadside device instructs again a driver to select either DSRC settlement or cash settlement as to parking fee settlement (Step S13). Thus, even if the selection period capable of selecting a settlement method has lapsed before the driver selects the settlement method through an operation of a touch panel of the on-vehicle device, a parking fee settlement system does not execute cash settlement processing as it is and can provide an opportunity for the driver to select again the settlement method through the touch panel of the roadside device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
