P To provide a technology for preventing a current from flowing to a three-phase load when a boot capacitor is charged via a second switching element before output of three-phase current is started. PSOLUTION: An inverter device 10B includes: a connection switch performing conduction/non-conduction between an intermediate potential point NP and a three phase load 15 receiving the three-phase current; inverter control means controlling a switching operation of a first switching element and the second switching element of each leg; switching control means controlling an operation of the connection switch; and a boot capacitor 32 giving operation POWER to a control circuit 33 controlling the operation of the first switching element. When the boot capacitor 32 is charged via the second switching element before the output of the three-phase current is started, the switching control means makes the connection switch to be non-conductive.
