PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation sensitive composition for color filter which causes no unevenness of coating even when coating particularly using a slit die coater is performed and is capable of efficiently forming a uniform colored layer with a high product yield upon the coating onto a substrate.;SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive composition for color filter consists of a pigment (A), alkali soluble resin (B), polyfunctional monomers (C), a photo-radical generator (D) and solvent (E). Therein, the solvent (E) comprises alkoxyalkyl acetate, alkoxyalkyl acetate is 5 to 70 wt.% of the whole of solvent and the concentration of solid content is 10 to 30 wt.%.
