PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing inner ring for improving the productivity of a tapered roller bearing and facilitating a size increase of the tapered roller bearing, and to provide an inner ring-tapered roller assembly for facilitating the production of the tapered roller bearing. PSOLUTION: A collar portion 5 is formed only on the large diameter side of a tapered outer periphery raceway surface 2 of the inner ring 50. On the inner ring 50, a small diameter side outer peripheral face portion 6 and a cutout 7 are formed which is located on the small diameter side beyond the tapered outer periphery raceway surface 2 of the inner ring 50 and which communicates the small diameter side outer peripheral face portion 6 with a cylinder inner peripheral face 1, respectively. In the cylinder inner peripheral face 1 of the inner ring 50, a linear groove 12 is formed which communicates the cutout 7 with a second end face 4 on the large diameter side of the tapered outer periphery raceway surface 2 in the axial direction.
