Disclosed herein is an isoquinolinone compound of formula I, wherein the substituents are as defined within the specification, processes for their preparation, compositions comprising said compounds and uses thereof. Said compounds are useful for inhibiting catalytic activity of phosphatidyl inositol-3 kinase (PI3 Kinase) present in a cell and also for treating disease manifesting an undesired immune response.
