A method for diagnosing the impaired afferent visual flow of parvocellular and coniocellular visual system comprises the record of electrophysiological response upon presentation of chromatic reverse alternated checkered pattern followed by mathematical processing and plotting the curve with the peaks of varying amplitudes and latencies. In addition, the chromatic red-blue and red-green reverse alternated checkered pattern is presented. The extended latency and amplitude of the curve plotted, the presence or absence of interhemisphere or interocular asymmetry are diagnostic of the impaired afferent visual flow of parvocellular and coniocellular visual system.
