Provided are an integrated servo system (3) and a method with which a motor (11) is controlled. The integrated servo system (3) is equipped with a position detection unit (13) that detects data used to calculate the position of the motor (11), and a position signal processor (14) that calculates the position of the motor (11) on the basis of the detected data used to calculate the position. The integrated servo system (3) also is equipped with a servo control circuit (15) that controls the motor (11) on the basis of the calculated position data, and a parallel bus (16) through which the calculated position data is transmitted from the position signal processor (14) to the servo control circuit (15).
