摘要

Provided is a method for manufacturing an electrophoresis display device capable of, even if electrophoresis ink is used, suppressing deterioration of adhesion between the upper surface of a structure and a counter electrode substrate and improving structural durability and display durability of the electrophoresis display device. The method includes: a step of forming a plurality of cells on a first electrode substrate, each of the cells being composed of an insulating structure; a step of heating a film base material with a thermoplastic adhesive layer formed on the surface, in such a state that the film base material is in contact with the upper surface of the structure and peeling the film base material in such a state that the adhesive layer is softened, thereby transferring the adhesive layer to the front surface of the structure; a step of filling the cells with the electrophoresis ink; and a step of bonding the upper surface of the structure and a second electrode substrate to each other while heating the upper surface and the second electrode substrate at a temperature lower than that in the adhesive layer transferring step.
