PURPOSE: An intermittent operating type device for crushing food waste is provided to apidly crush food waste and to reduce energy consumption by using centrifugal force and inertia.;CONSTITUTION: An intermittent operating type device for crushing food waste comprises a crushing unit(10) and a driving unit(20). The crushing unit comprises an inflow unit(11), a cutter(12), a discharge blade(13), and a discharge unit(14). The inflow unit is exposed to a bottom surface of a sink(2). The cutter is rotated by a motor being arrange in an inner lower part. The discharge blade is formed in the lower part of the cutter. The discharge unit is formed in one side of the discharge blade. The driving unit comprises a shaft(21), a motor(22), and a control unit(23). The shaft is connected to the cutter. The motor is joined to the shaft. The control unit repeatedly performs a work supplying power to the motor for predetermined time and not supplying the power to the motor for the predetermined time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
