PURPOSE: A plastic muffler for vehicles is provided to improve fuel efficiency with a reduced weight as the case of the muffler is made of plastic materials.;CONSTITUTION: A plastic muffler for vehicles comprises an end plate(12), a heat resistant plastic case(14), and a sound-absorbing material. The end plate has some parts in contact with an exhaust pipe(10), and the other parts are separately placed from the exhaust pipe at a constant distance. The end plate is made of steel materials. The heat resistant plastic case is assembled to the outer end of the end plate. The sound-absorbing material is filled in between a space between the exhaust pipe and the heat resistant plastic case.
