PURPOSE: A muffler for vehicles having plastic case is provided to decrease the surface temperature of the muffler by secluding high temperature heat with an insulator.;CONSTITUTION: A muffler(100) for vehicles having plastic case comprises a muffler core(110), an insulator(120), and a plastic outer case(130). The muffler core is made of steel materials, in which exhaust gas flows in and discharges. The insulator encloses an outer surface of the muffler core. The plastic outer case is formed into a coupling structure, in which an upper case is connected to a lower case with a connector. The insulator is composed of a combination of glass, ceramic, silica, alumina silicic, silicon carbide, and aramid fibers.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
