MUFFLER FOR VEHICLES HAVING A PLASTIC CASE, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING FOREIGN MATERIALS FROM FLOWING INSIDE THE MUFFLER

PURPOSE: A muffler for vehicles having a plastic case is provided to prevent the pollution on an insulator and the scattering of the insulator with reducing heat delivered to the plastic case from a muffler core by sealing a place between the plastic case and an exhaust pipe.;CONSTITUTION: A muffler for vehicles having a plastic case comprises a muffler core(120), an insulator(130), and a plastic case(140). An exhaust pipe(110), in which exhaust gas flows and discharges is connected to the muffler core. The exhaust pipe comprises an inner exhaust pipe, and an outer exhaust pipe. The inner exhaust pipe is inserted into the muffler core. The outer exhaust pipe is inserted into the inner exhaust pipe, and extended from an outer side of the muffler core. A cut off bracket is connected between an end part of the inner exhaust pipe and an outer case. The cut off bracket separates the inner exhaust pipe from the outer exhaust pipe, and prevents foreign materials from flowing inside the muffler.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
