PURPOSE: A shakiness correcting device, a shakiness correction controlling method, and a photographing device a controlling method thereof are provided to obtain a rotational center within a frequency band hard to be influenced by disturbance, thereby reducing the degradation of precision caused by an unstable factor of an accelerometer.;CONSTITUTION: A shakiness correcting device comprises a shakiness correction unit(111), a driving unit(110), a position detecting unit, and a correction calculation unit. The shakiness correcting device corrects shakiness by moving nonparallel to an optical shaft, thereby correcting the shakiness. The driving unit drives the shakiness correcting unit based on driving signals. The position detecting unit outputs position detection signals by detecting a position of the shakiness correcting unit. The correction calculation unit detects translational shakiness correction components from the movement of the shakiness correcting unit so that the driving signals and position detection signals can be an input.
