MOONPOOL FOR A SHIP TO CONTROL STABILITY AND SEAWORTHINESS CAPABLE OF REDUCING THE RISK OF A SHIP

PURPOSE: A moonpool for a ship to control stability and seaworthiness is provided to improve seaworthiness by increasing the center of gravity of a hull because seawater is charged only in an upper space among partitioned spaces when boarding sensitivity is degraded.;CONSTITUTION: A moonpool for a ship to control stability and seaworthiness(12) comprises partition members(14), charging and draining facility, and a moving facility. The partition members partition an inner space of the moonpool to layered watertight spaces. The charging and draining facility is installed inside the layered watertight spaces to charge or drain seawater. The moving facility installs the partition members into the moonpool or removes the partition members to the outside. Guide rails(16) are arranged in an inner wall of the moonpool to guide the movement of the partition members.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
