PURPOSE: A sponge for germinating and cultivating seeds capable of improving the germination rate is provided to enable users to easily sow seeds on the porous sponge.;CONSTITUTION: A sponge for germinating and cultivating seeds is formed with a cylindrical or a cube shaped body(10) using a porous sponge. A seed mount groove(14) with a diameter of 2-6mm and a depth of 2-8mm is installed on the upper center of the body for preventing seed leaves from sinking in water. A crossing type cut-out unit(12) is crossing the seed mount groove for seedlings to easily root.
