COMPOSITION CONTAINING ECKLONIA CAVA-DERIVED FUCOIDAN WITH A RADIATION PROTECTING ABILITY FOR ENHANCING IMMUNITY

PURPOSE: A composition containing Ecklonia cava-derived fucoidan for enhancing immunity is provided to ensure a radiation protecting ability and to be used as a material for enhancing immunity.;CONSTITUTION: A composition with a radiation protecting ability contains Ecklonia cava extract-derived fucoidan. The fucoidan is prepared by extracting pulverized Ecklonia cava by enzyme extraction using saccharolytic enzyme, protease, or a mixture thereof. The saccharolytic enzyme includes celluclast, AMG, viscozyme, or a mixture thereof. The protease is alkalase, neutrase, flavourzyme, protamex, or a mixture thereof. The fucoidan is prepared by treating a fucoidan crude extract with potassium chloride and removing alginic acid.
