PURPOSE: A walking robot having six legs and a control method thereof are provided to walk stably and quickly by having six legs.;CONSTITUTION: A walking robot having six legs comprises a front leg(1), a rear leg(4), a first left leg(2), a second left leg(3), a first right leg(6), a second right leg(5), and a control part(50). The front leg is positioned at the front center of a robot body. The rear leg is positioned at the rear center of the robot body.
