PURPOSE: A position signal receiving method and an apparatus using the pseudo range correction are provided to determine the correction value which will be applied to the pseudo range, thereby raise the accuracy of the positioning.;CONSTITUTION: A receiving module(220) receives the position signals from a plurality of satellite. A measuring module(230) calculates the pseudo range measurement based on the received signals. Positioning module(240) determines the current position of the receiver based on the calculated pseudo ranges, and calculates current value of the positioning parameter such as height, velocity, and the time.
