METHOD AND A STRUCTURE FOR REPAIRING OLD AND DAMAGED PIPES CAPABLE OF SIMPLY INSERTING A REVIVAL PIPE INTO A PIPELINE

PURPOSE: A method and a structure for repairing old and damaged pipes are provided to conveniently repair old and damaged pipes in a short time by coating a cutout part with thermoelectric resin after one of a nonwoven fabric, a glass fiber mat, and a carbon fiber mat is attached on the cutout part.;CONSTITUTION: A method for repairing old and damages pipes(10) is as follows. A revival pipe(20) is formed by thermoelectric resin(40) to fit in the inner diameter of the old and damaged pipe. One side of the revival pipe is cut out to form a cutout part(21) so that one end of the revival pipe can be rolled inward by elasticity to reduce the diameter. The revival pipe is inserted in the old and damaged pipes. In order to closely attach the revival pipe to the old and damaged pipes, one of a nonwoven fabric, a glass fiber mat, and a carbon fiber mat(30) is attached to the cutout part. The cutout part is coated by thermoelectric resin to reconnect the cutout part of the revival pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
