PURPOSE: A protecting case for a water gauge is provided to prevent rupture due to freezing of the water gauge by fixing insulation in a body of the protecting case and to prevent contaminants from penetrating into the inside of the protecting case. CONSTITUTION: A protecting case for a water gauge comprises a body of the protecting case(102), protective insulations(110,111), and a connection pipe(120). The upper part of the body of the protecting case is open and the inside is vacant. The protective insulation is inserted in the body of the protecting case and is fixed in the inner surface of the body. The protective insulation includes the water gauge(150) in the inside and includes a vertical passing hole(112) in center. The connection pipe is inserted in the vertical passing hole and includes a partition in order to prevent penetration of foreign materials into the inside of the protecting case.
