PURPOSE: A method for measuring the absolute angle of a torque angle sensor in a vehicle is provided to remove the error of a first sub gear unit by only using the angle information of a second sub gear when calculating the second factor of an absolute angle.;CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the absolute angle of a torque angle sensor in a vehicle comprises the following steps: sensing each angle of first and second sub gears by using a hall sensor(S410); calculating a delta value out of the angle of the first and second sub gear(S420); obtaining the first factor of an absolute angle form the delta value(S430); obtaining the second factor of the absolute angle from the angle of the second sub gear(S440); and obtaining and correcting the delta value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S410) Detecting the angles of first and second sub gears; (S420) Calculating a delta value from the angles of the first and second sub gears; (S430) Obtaining a first factor of the absolute angle of a steering sensor from the delta value; (S440) Obtaining a second factor of the absolute angle of the steering sensor from the angle of the second sub gear
