PURPOSE: A welding device and a method for controlling the same are provided to detect the flatness of two members for welding and subsequently to adjust the flatness of the two members by using magnets and a hydraulic cylinder.;CONSTITUTION: A welding device(100) and a method for controlling the same comprises a support stand(110), a plurality of magnets(151,152), a plurality of ascending and descending units(141,142), and a drive unit(170). The support stand is equipped with a plurality of wheels and a welding device and moves in spaces between and above the two members. The magnets are attached to and detached from the two members. The ascending and descending units are equipped in the support stand and move the magnets up and down. The drive unit is equipped in the support stand, obtains the image of the welding unit of the two members, and operates at least one ascending and descending unit, the welding device, and the wheels on the basis of the obtained image. The ascending and descending units consist of a hydraulic cylinder. The drive unit comprises a laser vision and a controller. The laser vision exposes the two members to beams and obtains the image of the welding unit of the two members. The controller controls the fluid pressure of the hydraulic cylinder; controls the operation of the welding device on the basis of the weld line; and controls the operation of the wheels once the welding is completed.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
