NEWLY IDENTIFIED COLORECTAL CANCER MARKER GENES, PROTEINS TRANSLATED FROM THE GENES AND A DIAGNOSTIC KIT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel marker for diagnosing colon cancer and a kit for diagnosing colon cancer using the same are provided to determine metastasis and prognosis of colon cancer. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide is denoted by an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of sequence numbers 1-4. The polynucleotide encodes the amino acid sequence. A polynucleotide has base sequences of sequence numbers 5-8. A composition for detecting a cancer marker contains a material for detecting the expression of the polypeptide or the polynucleotide. A composition for detecting the cancer marker contains: an antibody which specifically binds to the polypeptide or a combination thereof, or a primer pair which specifically binds to the polynucleotide, a probe, or an antisense nucleotide. A kit for diagnosing cancer contains the composition.
