MOVABLE QUAY WALL CAPABLE OF MOORING SHIPS TO A PIER

PURPOSE: A movable quay wall is provided to improve the space utilization of a pier and to reduce construction cost.;CONSTITUTION: A movable quay wall comprises holder parts(110), fixed plates(120), water packs(130), seawater supply parts, and expansion joint parts(150). The holder parts are installed along the edge of a ship(10). The fixed plate comprises a slider part(121) slidingly coupled to the holder parts. The water packs are coupled to moving plates. The seawater supply parts supply seawater to the internal space of the water packs to prevent the ship from flowing by the water pressure of the water packs. One side of the expansion joint parts is installed in the front end or the rear end of the ship, and the other side thereof is installed on the bottom surface of a pier(20), thereby doing the expansion joint of the ship to the pier.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
