PURPOSE: A dielectric composition is provided to include minor components that include specific oxide or carbide at the optimal ratio, thereby obtaining the high capacity of a dielectric layer without making a thin dielectric layer.;CONSTITUTION: A dielectric composition comprises base material powder, a first minor component, a second minor component, a third minor component, a fourth minor component, a fifth minor component, and a sixth minor component. The base material powder comprises BamTiO3 (0.995=m=1.010). The first minor component comprises 0.1-0.6 mole of zirconium (Zr) oxide or carbide based on 100 mole of the base material powder. The second minor component comprises 0.8-6.0 mole of oxide or carbide, which includes at least one among magnesium (Mg), strontium (Sr), and barium (Ba), based on 100 mole of the base material powder. The third minor component comprises 0.2-1.8 mole of oxide, which includes at least one rare-earth element, based on 100 mole of the base metal powder. The fourth minor component comprises 0.05-0.30 mole of oxide, which includes at least one transition metal, based on 100 mole of the base metal powder. The fifth minor component comprises 0.05-0.35 mole of oxide based on 100 mole of the base metal powder. The oxide includes at least one among vanadium (V), niobium (Nb), tantalum (Ta). The sixth minor component comprises 0.5-4.0 mole of oxide, which includes at least one among silicon (Si) and aluminum (Al), based on 100 mole of the base metal powder.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
