PURPOSE: A method for improving the readability of an electronic book content viewer and a computer-readable recording medium are provided to enable a user to read a line which processes highlights when the user executes an improved readability application is terminated and started, thereby offering user convenience.;CONSTITUTION: When a requested page is outputted to an electronic book content viewer which is implemented in an output unit, a line number and a layer size, which are related to the page and are stored in a storage unit, are confirmed and implements highlights for the line number with the layer size (S11). When a position change event is received from an input unit in order to change the line number, a line number, which is changed in response to the position change event, is obtained (S14).
