PURPOSE: A semiconductor system and a command address setup/hold time control method are provided to control the setup/hold time by latching a command address even in case that the number of command addresses is more than the number of data pads.;CONSTITUTION: A controller (2) applies a clock enable signal, first to third command addresses, a chip selection signal, first and second entry commands, and an exit command and receives an output signal. A semiconductor device (3) latches the first and the second command address in response to the chip selection signal and the first entry command and delivers the first and the second command address to the output signal. The semiconductor device latches the first and the third command address in response to the chip selection signal and the second entry command and delivers the first and the third command address to the output signal.
