PURPOSE: A liquid crystal compound and liquid crystal composition are provided to have a smectic C liquid crystal property in a wide range of temperature, a fast response speed, a wide viewing angle and a high efficiency with low power consumption.;CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal compound is represented by a chemical formula 1: NC-B-X-A-O(CH2)_n-(CF2)_mF. In the chemical formula 1, A and B are arylene (C6-C20), cycloalkylene (C3-C20) or heteroallylene (C3-C20). X is a single bond, -COO-, -OOC-, -CF2O- or -OF2C-. n and m are an integer of 1-10. A liquid crystal composition includes the liquid crystal compound.
