PURPOSE: A method for deciding point of purchase and a system for providing a purchase signal are provided to allow the enterprise to purchase a target, of which the price is not fixed, like raw materials at the best price, thereby enabling the enterprise, a purchaser, to create profits through cost savings. CONSTITUTION: A purchase price data input unit (10) receives purchase price data including the purchase price of a target. A purchase index output unit (20) calculates a purchase index through the regression analysis of the inputted purchase price data. A point of purchase determining unit (30) determines the point of purchase from the calculated purchase index. According to the point of purchase determination result, a purchase signal providing unit (40) provides a purchase signal.
