PURPOSE: An image processing method for electrical document storage and transmission from a document image which is obtained by a digital camera and an apparatus thereof are provided to obtain an high and uniform quality image as if the image is taken by an exclusive camera, without auxiliary tools such as special lighting, a frame for photographing or a document fixing frame.;CONSTITUTION: Brightness correction (111), contrast correction (121), length correction (131) and perspective correction (141) are sequentially performed. A mark for recognition is used in a document which is to be photographed in order to easily determine a range of correction in an image.
