The present invention relates to an aluminum foil current collector integrated with a nanostructure carbon layer having a high electrical conductivity and a manufacturing method thereof. The aluminum foil current collector integrated with a nanostructure carbon layer having a high electrical conductivity according to the present invention comprises an aluminum foil in a delivery state from a warehouse being used as a current collector; an oxide layer including an oxide or a hydroxide formed on the surface of the aluminum foil by conducting a hot water treatment after peeling the surface of the aluminum foil; and carbon nanotubes grown and formed on the surface of the aluminum foil with the metal ions as a catalyst after impregnating the oxide layer with liquid including metal ions, or a carbon layer including the carbon nanotubes. Accordingly economic efficiency and the reliability of a product can be improved with a small amount of energy consumption by simplifying the process to dispense with an electrochemical etching process in the process of manufacture while improving adhesiveness between the aluminum foil and an active material layer and having excellent electrical conductivity, and by reducing heating time in an atmosphere of hydrocarbons.
