PURPOSE: A cysteine-targeting chemodosimetric fluorescent probe is provided to ensure high selectivity with respect to cysteine and excellent light emitting property, and to sensitively detect minute amount of cysteine. CONSTITUTION: A cysteine-targeting chemodosimetric fluorescent probe is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the cysteine-targeting chemodosimetric fluorescent probe comprises a step of condensing compounds denoted by chemical formulas 2 and 3 under the presence of a catalyst to prepare the compound denoted by the chemical formula 1. The compound denoted by the chemical formula 2 is prepared by reacting a compound denoted by chemical formula 4 and a compound denoted by chemical formula 5.
