PURPOSE: A Manchu character input device is provided to eliminate the inconvenience of transcribing with Roman characters in order to input Manchu characters, and to input characters by using multiple basic Manchu character form input keys, or by using a stroke addition key, a small circle addition key, and a direction switching key in addition to the multiple basic character form input keys. CONSTITUTION: A Manchu character input device includes the following parts: eight basic character form input keys corresponding to basic Manchu character forms and assigned to enable each character form to be inputted; a stroke addition key assigned to enable characters, where a stroke is added to the multiple basic character forms, to be inputted; a small circle addition key assigned to enable characters, where a circle or a dot is added to the multiple basic character forms, to be inputted; an input part composed of a direction switching key assigned to enable the multiple basic character forms to be inputted after changing the direction of the character forms; a screen display part connected to the input part and displaying inputted result values; and a control part controlling the input part and the screen display part.
