PURPOSE: A method for teaching a language using video subtitle display is provided to easily match the meaning of a word to enable a learner to take a quick look by displaying a Korean subtitle according to the order of an output language. CONSTITUTION: An original language subtitle about a video is displayed through a Korean subtitle display according to the word order of a video subtitle(S100). The Korean subtitle for the word of an original language subtitle is displayed on an upper or bottom end of the original language subtitle(S102). The original language subtitle and a color of the Korean subtitle according to the word of the original language subtitle are changed according to the voice of a video speaker(S104). The word of the original language subtitle and the Korean subtitle are matched to the top and bottom by controlling the size of a font(106). The Korean subtitle according to the order of the Korean word is simultaneously displayed along with the original language subtitle in the video(S108).
