PURPOSE: A feed additive for eel cultivation is provided to improve the rate of gain and the feed efficiency, to increase the content of vitamin A, vitamin E and omega fatty acid, to stimulate the neutrophil activation, and to reduce the mortality due to infection of fish pathogens. CONSTITUTION: Tissue-cultured ginseng is dried until the moisture content become 5-15 weight%, and pulverized. A feed composition for eel cultivation includes 0.5-2 weight% of dried tissue-cultured ginseng powder as an active ingredient. The feed composition for eel cultivation is powder formulation or pellet formulation. The feed composition for eel cultivation is fed to eels to breed.
