A method of cultivating buckwheat sprouts by soaking buckwheat seeds in a damp place and slowly putting a frame containing sprouted buckwheat seeds into a basin containing water and taking out of the basin is provided to obtain buckwheat sprouts which are of uniform height and commercially marketable and to prevent the black discoloration of root. Buckwheat seeds are soaked in water and placed in a damp place until the root of the seeds reaches more than 1cm. The sprouted buckwheat seeds are spread on a frame having the shape of a bean sprout growing box, slowly put into a basin containing water and taken out of the basin. The repetition in the work of putting into/taking out the frame allows the heavy body part of the buckwheat seeds to face upward and the light root part to face downward by the buoyant force of water. The buckwheat sprouts are then sprayed with water periodically while maintaining the above state to form a dense mat of buckwheat sprouts in a mesh net shape. The buckwheat sprouts are fixed with wire mesh.
