PURPOSE: A synthetic method of nanoparticles using a biofilm having electrochemical activities is provided to produce metal nanoparticles having a fine and uniform size distribution in a short period of time. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic method of nanoparticles using a biofilm having electrochemical activities comprises the following step: dipping a support having a biofilm into a solution in which a metal precursor and a carbon source are included. The synthetic method is performed under an anaerobic condition. The support is carbon paper. The metal precursor is in a salt form which is reduced into metal. The metal is one selected from silver, gold, palladium, and platinum. The metal is silver and the metal precursor is AgNO3. The carbon source is sodium acetate salt(CH3COONa). The diameter of the nanoparticle is 1-10 nanometers.
