PURPOSE: An online system for assessment of speaking a foreign language is to provided to analyze gaps among sentences in a speaking answer to a speaking question, and to enable an assessor to give a speaking guidance to a learner by allowing the assessor to record assessment content for each sentence and to feed the recorded assessment content to the learner. CONSTITUTION: An online system for assessment of speaking a foreign language includes a speaking learning interface installed at a learner's server, and a speaking assessment interface installed at an assessor's server and capable of correcting voices spoken in the foreign language. The learner records voices as an answer to a question and transmits the recorded voices by using the speaking learning interface. The assessor analyzes gaps among each of sentences in the recorded content, inserts his or her voices into each of gaps, and generates a new file. The speaking assessment interface transmits the assessment result to the speaking learning interface so that the learner can check the corrected voice content.
