1. A method for characterizing and / or identifying a microorganism from a test sample, comprising: (a) obtaining a test sample that is known to contain or may contain microorganisms; (b) selective lysis of non-microorganism cells in the test sample to obtain a lysed sample; (c) the separation of microorganisms from other components of the specified lysed sample with the formation of an isolated sample of the microorganism; (d) the study of the specified isolated sample of the specified microorganism using mass pektrometrii for removing the mass spectrum of this microorganism, and (e) characterization and / or identification of the microorganism in said isolated sample measured by comparing the mass spectrum with reference mass spectra and / or the known or predicted masses of cellular components known mikroorganizmov2.
