1. A method of reducing the concentration of perchlorate in an aqueous concentrated multicomponent saline solution, which includes: treating the specified saline with an amphoteric resin with the formation of adsorbed perchlorate on a resin containing many anions, and a solution depleted in perchlorate; and removing said perchlorate-depleted solution. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising: treating said adsorbed perchlorate and a resin containing a plurality of anions with a first amount of eluting water to obtain a depleted first eluent and a first eluted resin; and collecting said depleted first eluent. 3. The method of claim 2, further comprising treating said first eluted resin with a second amount of elution water to obtain a second enriched eluent and a second eluted resin; and collecting said second rich eluent. 4. The method of claim 3, wherein said treating said adsorbed perchlorate on a resin with said first amount of elution water and said first eluted resin with said second amount of elution water constitutes a continuous process. The method of claim 1, wherein said multicomponent saline solution contains anions selected from the group consisting of chloride, chlorate, perchlorate, sulfate, and dichromate. The method according to one of claims 3 to 5, wherein said amphoteric ion exchange resin has a first resin volume and said combined first amount and a second amount of said eluting water have a total volume of about 1-10 times greater than said first resin volume.
