FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of preparing a cow blood plasma sample for determining composition of free amino acids by ion-exchange chromatography. 40-45 mg of sulphosalicylic acid are added to 1 ml of cow blood plasma, stirred for 2-3 minutes, centrifuged and the supernatant fluid is filtered. Lithium hydroxide is added to the cleaned filtrate in amount of 0.002-0.004 mg per ml of the cleaned filtrate and thoroughly shaken until complete dissolution.;EFFECT: invention improves the quality of isolation and accuracy of determining free amino acids from a cow blood plasma sample, reduces labour costs and time for all steps of the process.;2 tbl, 1 ex
