FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: method envisages extraction of the food product sample with sodium sulphate solution, whenever required - removal of carotenoids from it with the help of chloroform, addition of tetrabutylammonium bromide and a mixture of chloroform with acetonitrile to the separated extract, shaking, settlement for stratification and the organic fraction bottom stratum sampling with its further comparison to clear solvent by the result whereof one concludes on occurrence of synthetic colorants in the food product.;EFFECT: method is simple in terms of implementation and requires no excessive labour expenditures.;2 cl
