The solar module has semiconductor element and solar cells (1,2) which are electrically connected to one another. The electrical connection between the solar cells is formed by contact film (13) with connection portion (134) which is provided on a surface of the solar cell (1). The contact film is provided with an opening (132) and intermediate portion (133) extending beyond the solar cell surface. The encapsulant is flowed into the contact film opening and adhered with the solar cell surface. An independent claim is included for solar module manufacturing method.
