The method involves regulating the brightness of the light function of a control curve according to continuous increasing from a lower limit to an upper limit and then falling steadily to the lower limit. The control curve is provided with curved shape in section-wise manner. The control curve has an area, which extends parallel to the upper and lower limit. The lower limit of the control curve is greater than or equal to the minimum luminous intensity of the light function. An independent claim is included for a light module for a vehicle.
