The method involves measuring measurement values at a body of a customer. A frame with frame end points for right and left front trousers (4a, 4b) and right and left rear trousers is created. The frame end points are smoothly connected with each other. A base form for the right and left front trousers and the right and left rear trousers is determined. A cutting model for the rear trousers is created from the separated base form. Shaped waistband sections at the front and rear trousers are separated from the base form. A circumference at a seat of jeans is measured.
