The valve (1) has a multipart valve sleeve (2) in which an electromagnetic actuator and a valve element are held, where the valve element is functionally connected with the actuator for actuation, and cooperates with a valve opening (6). An insert mold (7) is attached on the valve sleeve, and a sealing element (9) e.g. shrink hose (10), sprayed silicone ring or epoxy resin ring, covers a transition from the insert mold to the valve sleeve. The valve is made of metal, and the insert mold is made of plastic. A labyrinth seal to the sealing element is formed between the mold and the sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a dosing valve.
